Province recognizes Inter-Agency Sports Fest Winners

Acting Gov. Arturo Carlos Egay, Jr. honored the top dogs and key players who triumphed during the Province-wide Inter-Agency Sports Festival immediately after the Monday Morning Sharing last May 28, 2018 at the Provincial Convention Center.

 In the field of basketball, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Training Center was adjudged as the over-all winner, followed by the Surigao City government and the 30th Infantry Batallion of the Philippine Army, for the second and third spot, respectively.

For volleyball (Men's Division), first place went to the Surigao Metro Water District (SMWD). City Government of Surigao followed in the second spot while Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was proclaimed third placer.

For Volleyball (Women’s Division), declared over-all champ was the DPWH, seconded by the City Government, and followed in the 3rd rank by the PNP PPO.

For mixed badminton, the Philippine Attorney’s Office (PAO) made it to the first standing. Making it to the second spot was the City Government while the Philippine ports Authority (PPA) earned the third speck.

For badminton doubles (men): PPA was awarded over-all champion while PNP PPO held the second fleck. Chasing in the 3rd dapple was Caraga Regional Hospital (CRH).

Here were the other highly-acclaimed achievers:

Badminton doubles (women): 1st- PAO, 2nd- PPA and 3rd- city government.

Dart (men): Champion - DENR PENRO, 2nd- DPWH and 3rd - Capitol

Dart (women): champion - DENR-PENRO, 2nd- City Government, and 3rd- Maritime.

Table tennis (men): champion - PNP PPO, 2nd-DepEd SDN, and 3rd- CRH. Table tennis (women): 1st- PNP PPO, 2nd- DepEd SDN and 3rd- DPWH

Mixed table tennis: champion- PNP PPO, 2nd-DepEd SDN and 3rd- NFA/PSA.

Chess: 1st-SMWD, 2nd-PNP PPO and 3rd-CRH.

MMS

With the theme, "Changing Lives, Building Safer Nation," BJMP led by C/Insp Felix Resullar vibrantly hosted the Monday Morning Sharing (MMS). A video presentation entitled "The Father's Diary" was shown before the energized multitude, in honor of the loving fathers.

PAO In-charge Atty. Vals Lisondra thanked Gov Sol Matugas for her sincere assistance and unconditional support to their office which is fully committed in defending indigent clients to accord impartial justice in matters involving administrative, civil, labor and criminal justice.

Atty. Lisondra said that for government employees whose monthly income does not fall above Php13,000, subscribing and/or notarial service is free, for the Personal Data Sheet (PDS) and Statement of Assets and Liabilities (SALN).

He said that their office does not accommodate notary for deed of sale, extrajudicial partition and other commercial documents.

Meanwhile, the BJMP detailed its accomplishments like drug clearing operations in coordination with PDEA, ALS, medical mission, dental extraction, paralegal services, recycling of plastic and synthetic materials, therapeutic community model program, foodpacks distribution of the multi-awarded Governor, giving of three-deck beds and repair of the detention facility. Nurse V Cerenia Cesar of the Provincial Hospital, was also honored after her 25 years of government service from November 1, 1992 to May 17, 2018

Atty Xander Plaza of the PHRMDO also announced that his office is going to initiate a Search for Outstanding Employees. He also said that pursuant to the regulations laid down by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), each employee must religiously submit his/her IPCR to qualify for a midyear bonus.
