Province organizes recollection with the Irizari couple
(January 7, 2018)
Gov. Sol Matugas started the year right with her spiritual enhancement and recollection programs facilitated by Dr. Jun and Sarah Irizari in order to revolutionize the over-all system with value-formation and charcter-building respecting moral lives of village leaders (Punong Barangays), city government employees, Provincial officials, DepEd Tri-Div school administrators, purok chairmen of Brgy. Taft, this city, and permanent Capitol employees.
In her official remarks, Gov. Matugas thanked the workaholic employees who joined the meaningful and life-changing convergence activities aimed to rectify their personal flaws, to cement the ties that bind them, and to purify their hearts and minds.
On his part, Vice Gov. Arturo Carlos Egay, Jr. praised the moderators for their unflinching commitment to inspire concrete and sweeping reforms in line with the HEALS PLUS Development Roadmap.
Dr. Irizari's recollections focused lengthily about the spirit of giving which is the ultimate key toward abundance, loving-kindness and overflowing joy. He said that generosity must be indicative and suggestive of forgiveness, collaboration, unity, camaraderie, understanding and teamwork.
To celebrate the perfect season of gift-giving and merry-making, selflessness must not be professed only once in a blue moon. Rather, positive change must inspire each one on a daily basis.
Rank-and-file personnel from the provincial government were entertained by the real-life situations-turned-jokes shared by Dr. Irizari who related a miraculous tale about his experience long time ago.
He said that in the mid 1970s, he was stricken by a debilitating and life-threatening malady which paralyzed his body. Physicians and medical experts said that he was a hopeless case, a dying young man whose ailment had no cure.
Sarah, he went on narrating, signified her pure love by praying to God for his instant mercy and Divine intervention. With her untiring faith, Jun was healed. He began to walk, filed an irrevocable resignation and started his lifelong journey of ministering to the people who hunger for the gospel.
His ministry soon bore fruits. In so short a time, God prospered him. He was able to secure a decent mansion and a car, through the help of Good Samaritans, which sprouted like mushrooms. His child was also able to finish his elementary, secondary and tertiary studies, without a single centavo taken from his pocket.
