Gob Lalo, Cong Bingo spearhead Panambay

Medical Mission bannered the frontpages and made headlines all across the paradise island of Siargao recently. First Legislative District Cong. Bingo Matugas moved heaven and earth with his Bagtik ang Himsog na Siargaonon.
Then Gov. Francisco ‘Lalo’ Matugas fully supported the meaningful event anchored on his masthead advocacy, “Mr Panambay sa Barangay, Padajon sa karajawan.”
Around 472 patients were initially served in the three barangays. Serving the people were 15 expert physicians all the way from Pasay General Hospital who willingly and eagerly joined Cong. Bingo and Mr Panambay Gob Lalo.
On Day Two, a total of 540 patients took advantage of the medical mission, while 200 individuals who are 18 years old below also gained from the mission. There were 272 middle-aged and adult patients while 68 senior citizens also showed up.
Medical doctors comprise of surgeons who were trained to perform operations to treat cysts. Optometrists also worked hand in hand for the free screening and distribution of reading glasses.
Also in full force were Internal Medicine and pedia doctors for the young and senior citizens who were entitled to free check up and consultation on top of vitamins supplementation.
On day one of the medical mission which took center-stage at the Brgy. Union covered court, Punong Barangay Fernando Durero was accompanied by dynamic members of the Sangguniang Barangay. Neighboring barangays like the Brgy 3 and Brgy. Don Paulino in the town of Dapa also benefited from the lovingkindness of Cong. Bingo.
Attending doctors of the Pasay General Hospital were assisted by medical practitioners from the Siargao hospital under the leadership of Heals Champion Sol Matugas.
Free Medical Mission in Siargao Island and Bucas Grande Socorro involved 15 private and expect doctors from Pasay with the following services offered: Ophthalmology, Minor surgery, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and General Medicine.
Free medicine were made available too, consisting of antibiotics, general medicine, vitamins, Eye care, and maintenance meds.
